Bluey

Bluey is a very tall, 4yr old Black Great Dane castrated dog. He is the real "Gentle Giant". 

He came in from a home with owners who could no longer cope due to their own ill health. He had lived happily with his half brother but unfortunately his owners were not able to recognise a serious problem with Bluey's hind limbs and this has since been the subject of much debate with our veterinary specialists. Bluey has learnt to cope with the disability and he enjoys playing football & having a run around the fields, helped by painkillers and arthritis supplements. Surgery is not an option.  

Bluey has now found a wonderful foster home and is beginning to enjoy the kind of life this special dog deserves. He has settled in wonderfully with in his foster home in Glanaman with a family with young children and a basset hound.

Great Dane Care is still supporting him fully for medical treatment and we are grateful for Burn's Pet Nutrition for their support with his diet.
